Perenn Bakery Opening This Weekend
Perenn Bakery, out of Nevada, is opening on Saturday! They are located at 94 E Main Street in Downtown Franklin (next to Slice House). Owned by Aubrey and Tyler O’Laskey, Perenn Bakery is committed to using ingredients from local farms, minimizing waste, and creating welcoming spaces that cater to families. They shared that the Franklin location will host fun events like sourdough-making classes and exciting collaborations with local businesses and artists. Check out the menu from their flagship store in Nevada.

Music City Rodeo
After Nashville has witnessed the success of The Franklin Rodeo over the years, they decided to copy us and launch their own rodeo. Nashville’s first ever rodeo, “Music City Rodeo”, will take place next weekend, May 29 - May 31 at Bridgestone Arena.
There will be performances each day after the rodeo by some names you probably know:
Thursday, May 29th: Reba
Friday, May 30th: Jelly Roll
Saturday, May 31st: Tim McGraw
The Music City Rodeo is Nashville’s first and only PRCA Pro Rodeo, celebrating both country culture and the excitement of professional rodeo. Over three nights, more than 30,000 fans will come together to experience classic rodeo events and live music in the heart of Nashville.
PRCA stands for Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, the highest standard in rodeo competition. Events include:
Roughstock: Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, and Bull Riding
Timed: Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Tie-Down Roping, and Barrel Racing
In roughstock events, contestants ride for eight seconds using just one hand—one touch with the free hand to themselves, the animal, or equipment means disqualification. In timed events, the goal is to post the fastest time possible, with rope barriers and head starts keeping competition fair.
